Online Marketing at Random House

Online marketing is an integral part of marketing for Random House and its publishers.
While all marketers at Random House work increasingly on the web, online marketers are specialists within our marketing departments who focus exclusively on online efforts. Projects and tasks might include reaching out to bloggers about a new title; building a website, blog, or social network profile for an author or a book; writing for or editing a divisional blog; creating keyword search advertising campaigns; creating diversified online marketing campaigns; and developing new product ideas.

In addition, Random House needs talented and creative web designers, web developers, and programmers to create new sites, features, and functionalities to help market our books and serve our customers.

Online positions at Random House include the following functional areas:

  • Online Marketing: online advertising, search engine marketing, cooperation with online sales, viral marketing
