For rising college seniors, Random House Inc. offers a summer internship program. Although Random House does not generally have internship opportunities during the school year, those that become available will be listed on the randomhouse.com job board.

Regardless of the path, we generally look for the college students who take initiative, possess strong communication skills and work effectively with others. We seek motivated individuals with strong work ethic and the flexibility to balance multiple projects and tasks. Prior internships or other work experiences, especially in book publishing, are valued. A strong academic record, involvement in extracurricular activities and excellent computer skills are also important qualities we seek.

When expressing your interest in our company, please feel free to inform us of an interest in a specific genre, division or format. These comments are helpful in identifying the best talent for a particular division. However, openings may not be available so please check the job board for available positions.
